What eucaly Supports

Lyrics

Create lyrics from File > New Lyrics or Command-N, then write plain text with a title, section headings, and verse lines.

Independent slide visibility, background visuals, background audio, and timer or clock overlays.

Background Audio

Import audio or video files into the library, choose a playable item from Audio, then control play, stop, loop, seek, and volume separately from slides.

Search

Use the command palette to quickly search the library, open webpages, create lyrics, and jump to supported files without browsing folders manually.

Writing Lyrics

Save lyrics as a plain text file. eucaly supports simple blank-line lyrics, explicit slide separators, sectioned lyrics, and direct CCLI/SongSelect exports.

  • Supported headings are Intro, Verse, Chorus, Pre-Chorus, Post-Chorus, Bridge, Instrumental, Vamp, Coda, Ending, Outro, and Tag.
  • Common aliases are Vers and Strophe for Verse; Refrain and Hook for Chorus; and Pre or Prechorus for Pre-Chorus.
  • Headings like [Chorus], [ Chorus ], and Chorus: are accepted.
  • Hook is treated as a chorus heading.
  • The first standalone line is treated as the song title. If there is no title line, the file name is used.
  • Direct CCLI/SongSelect lyric exports are supported, including common trailing copyright, CCLI song number, and license metadata.
  • The Format button can normalize common headings after you paste or type lyrics.
  • Use Meaning, Translation, or Transliteration inside a slide to show secondary text alongside the main lyric. Empty lines before these markers are okay, and Meaning is displayed in a smaller font.
  • For lower-third lyrics, keep each slide to only the two or three lines you want visible, then use Lyrics settings to move lyrics to Bottom.
Amazing Grace

Verse 1
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

[Verse 2]
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Plain lyrics with blank lines

No section headings are required. Each non-empty block becomes one slide.

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace

Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise

Explicit slide breaks

Use --- when you want exact control over where a new slide starts.

Holy, holy, holy
Lord God Almighty
---
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee

Sectioned lyrics

Use headings for verses, choruses, bridges, intros, outros, and other song parts.

Verse 1
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me

Chorus
Praise God, praise God
His mercy still remains

Meaning and transliteration

Add secondary text within the same slide for translated meaning or pronunciation help.

Verse 1
Prabhu tapai mahan hunuhunchha
Transliteration
Prabhu tapai mahan hunuhunchha
Meaning
Lord, You are great

Chorus
Hallelujah, hallelujah
